Taman Ayun Temple
Visit Taman Ayun Temple: The tour begins with a visit to Taman Ayun Temple, a royal family temple located in Mengwi. Known for its expansive gardens and beautiful multi-tiered shrines, Taman Ayun is considered one of Bali’s most beautiful temples. The temple is surrounded by a large moat, giving it the appearance of floating on water, and is an excellent example of traditional Balinese architecture.
Banyan Ancient Tree
Visit Banyan Ancient Tree: Next, you’ll visit a Banyan ancient tree, a sacred and massive tree often found near temples or village centers in Bali. These trees are revered in Balinese culture for their age and spiritual significance. Standing beneath its vast canopy, you’ll feel a sense of tranquility and connection to the natural world.
Continue to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its breathtaking landscapes. These expansive terraces are a stunning example of Bali’s traditional subak irrigation system, which has been practiced for centuries. You can take a leisurely walk through the terraces, enjoying the panoramic views of lush, green rice fields cascading down the hillsides.
Batukaru Temple
The tour then takes you to Batukaru Temple, a less-visited but equally enchanting temple located on the slopes of Mount Batukaru. This peaceful temple is surrounded by dense tropical forest, making it a serene and spiritual place to explore.
Tanah Lot Temple
The final stop is the iconic Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most photographed landmarks. Perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by the ocean, Tanah Lot is especially beautiful at sunset when the temple is silhouetted against the vibrant sky. It’s a stunning way to end your tour, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and spiritual significance.
