GOA GAJAH HISTORICAL SITE
The temple, also known as the Elephant Cave Temple, is an ancient site shrouded in mystery. The origin of Goa Gajah Temple is rich in history. The temple is said to have been built in the 9th century as a meditation sanctuary for monks living in the region. Intricate carvings on its façade depict mythological figures and animals. The temple has enormous Hindu and Buddhist influences.
TIRTA EMPUL HOLY WATER TEMPLE
In this temple, there is a sacred spring where the Balinese purify themselves. People go to this temple to ask for the holy water to bless the offerings and as a sign of the presence of God in the religious ceremony in the house, and the sacred spring in this temple is also used by the Hindu community for bathing to cleanse the body and soul.
BESAKIH MOTHER TEMPLE
It is the largest temple as well as the most important temple on the entire island of Bali. The Besakih temple is also believed to be the beginning of the spread of Hindu Dharma teachings on the island of Bali. Where exactly in the Basukian temple, one of the temples of the Besakih temple complex, where Hyang Rsi Markandya, a saint or priest, receive the revelation from God for the first time.
TUKAD CEPUNG WATERFALL
The waterfall can only be viewed once you walk down the stairs and into the cliff. You have to walk through a narrow cave to get in, and when you enter the cave, You will see the waterfall behind the big wall, which looks like a cave. Cepung waterfall, with the beauty and uniqueness of different waterfalls than others, located in the middle of high cliffs with very clear water, slightly enters the cliff area that seems to coincide with one another. The circular cliffs give you the feeling of being in a cave, while the open sky right from where the waterfall emerges gives you the most enchanting view.
