Tegenungan Waterfall is located in the village of Kemenuh in Gianyar Regency, north of the capital Denpasar and close to the Balinese artist village of Ubud. This tourist area is about 33 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport. or you can reach within 1 hour by scooter. To enter this waterfall, you only need to pay 20k IDR for each person. This tourist area is open from 06.30 to 18.30 local time.
At this location, we can not only enjoy the view of the waterfall, which is as high as about 15 meters above the Tukad Petanu River. There are also many “instagrammable” spots in this area. To get to the location closest to the waterfall, you have to pass hundreds of stairs, which are quite steep.
