Ubud Arts & Culture Tour: A Day of Balinese Heritage

Your day begins with the Barong and Kris Dance Performance, a traditional Balinese dance that depicts the eternal struggle between good and evil. The performance showcases the Barong, a mythical lion-like creature representing good, and the Kris, dancers wielding ceremonial daggers symbolizing evil forces. 

Next, you’ll explore the Ubud Monkey Forest, a lush sanctuary that houses a large population of playful long-tailed macaques. As you wander through the forest, you’ll observe these curious creatures interacting with their environment and each other amidst ancient temples and towering trees.

The tour continues to Goa Gajah Temple, also known as the Elephant Cave. If you choose to visit a coffee plantation, you’ll learn about Bali’s traditional coffee-making process. You’ll sample various coffee and tea blends, including the famous Luwak coffee.
